30 Day Limited Warranty

Protect America will provide a limited warranty of up to 30 days from the date of purchase for all equipment purchased from our online store on this website.

Protect America guarantees products to be free of breakage and manufacturer defect for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If for some reason your merchandise is damaged or defective upon receipt, we will replace it free of charge or it can be returned for a refund provided it is returned within 30 days from the date of purchase.

There are no deductibles or fees for warranty replacement. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping the returned products back to Protect America, but Protect America will ship the replacement items to the customer for no charge. Replacement items will not be shipped to the customer until the item(s) being returned are received from the customer.

Products that show abuse, misuse, alteration, lightning strikes, smoke damage, or fire damage will not be covered under the warranty. Returns that do not meet the above stated conditions and/or products that are tested and found to be in good working condition (not defective) will not be covered by this warranty and will either be returned to the customer at their expense or a refund will be provided in accordance with our return policy.

Warranty does not apply to batteries. In addition, clearance items are sold as is and cannot be returned or exchanged for another product unless immediately found to be defective. If the clearance product(s) is defective upon receipt, customer may choose to receive store credit from Protect America or they may return the product(s) for a refund. To return a defective item, please follow the return policy.

Any issues that arise with your product(s) after the 30 day period should be taken up directly with the product manufacturer. 

Subscribe to Protect America's Monitoring Service and Get a Free Lifetime Warranty 

Most alarm companies charge an extra monthly fee to have a warranty on your home security system equipment. At Protect America, we stand behind our product with a Free Lifetime Warranty that covers your home monitoring security system equipment for as long as you are an active subscriber of our award-winning home security monitoring service. 

Protect America will replace all defective home security equipment to our valued subscribers at no charge for the period of time that customer is actively monitored by Protect America, Inc.

This warranty period will remain in effect as long as the customer complies with the terms of the Standard Monitoring Agreement and the system is monitored by a Protect America, Inc. monitoring facility. The Warranty does not include batteries, or damages as a result of abuse, act of God, or in the event product is not used for its intended purposes.

If you need to obtain a replacement component for your system, you must contact the Protect America, Inc. customer service group at 1-800-951-5111, Option 4. Protect America, Inc. will attempt to resolve the equipment problem over the phone or through a diagnostic check of the system over the telephone line. If the problem cannot be solved remotely, Protect America, Inc. will ship a replacement component to customer to replace defective component. Customer must return the defective component to Protect America, Inc.
